How Green Was My Valley
5:30 p.m.

How Green Was My Valley is a novel by Richard Llewellyn that immortalized the way of life of the South Wales Valleys coal mining communities. It was made into a classic Hollywood film directed by John Ford, which tells the story of the Morgans, a Welsh mining family living in the heart of the South Wales Valleys during the 19th century. The film evokes a sense of lost youth and family love.
